Data we collect

We may collect personal data you voluntarily provide when contacting us via email (such as your name and email address), or when you share professional information for talent and collaboration purposes (such as your role, skills, portfolio, or work history). We do not collect personal data automatically through this website beyond standard server logs (IP address, browser type, access times).

Purpose and legal basis

Personal data is processed to respond to your inquiries and manage our business relationship. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to communications (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, or as required by law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@thosekids.studio.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.

Talent group & collaborator data

We keep an informal talent group on WhatsApp where we occasionally share casual or project-based work opportunities. Joining is entirely voluntary. If you join, your phone number and any information you choose to share with the group (name, profile picture, messages) become visible to other members and are processed by WhatsApp under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. You can leave the group at any time directly from WhatsApp.

If you contact us by email about collaborating, we store the information you send (CV, portfolio links, rates, availability, etc.) for as long as needed to evaluate fit and reach out about relevant projects. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). You can ask us to delete your details at any time by writing to hello@thosekids.studio.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store the email address you provide together with the date, time, IP address, and the exact consent wording shown at the time of signup — used only as proof of opt-in (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) and to deliver occasional studio updates. Every email we send contains a one-click unsubscribe link that permanently deletes your record from our database. The legal basis is your explicit consent.

Analytics

We measure site traffic using our own cookieless analytics. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracker, and we do not set cookies, use localStorage, or otherwise store any persistent identifier on your device.

For each page view we record the requested path, referring domain (if any), device category (mobile, tablet, or desktop), and a short hash derived from your IP address, user-agent, today's date, and a server-side secret. The hash rotates every 24 hours, which means the same visitor on a different day produces a different hash — so the data cannot be used to track anyone across days. Your raw IP address is never stored. Raw events are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Because no personal data is stored and no device identifier is placed on your machine, this processing falls outside the consent requirements of the e-Privacy Directive. The legal basis under the GDPR is our legitimate interest in understanding broad site usage (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). You can opt out at any time by enabling the Do Not Track setting in your browser — we honour it automatically.

Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies required for the proper functioning of the site (e.g., remembering your cookie consent preference, and — if you sign in to the studio dashboard — an authentication cookie). We do not use any tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies. Our analytics, described above, are entirely cookieless.
